Day 9 (6-7-18)
We saw an amazing sea side arch at Arnarstapi today. It's still baffling to think that nature could create such unique shapes when given enough time and conditions. I'd hoped to scope out some local Icelandic foxes that had been sighted nearby and photograph them, but was about as lucky with that as I was with the previous day's puffin adventure. We did manage to find a unique church to which is one of my favorites, located in Snaefellsbaer.
However, the old cemetery in the back was so beautiful. The back drop of mountains and snow behind it, was amazing. Then in Grundarfjardarbaer we saw another close range waterfall. The mountains behind this waterfall made it one of the most spectacular photographic spots on the whole trip as well.
