Feeling the Heat

Day two was the coldest day so far and was the first day that we were by the sea to take pictures of the beautiful turquoise waters. Not far off the coast that we went to was a “geo-thermal area”; where magma is close to the surface of the ground and sitting between the surface and water. It is easy to see where the heat is closest to the surface, it looks a little like cracked, burnt earth. Everyone’s hands were so cold from the frigid wind that they were turned purple and red so, we reached down deciding that the heat would feel good on our cold hands.
