Today was amazing. Waterfalls and wild horses were the main highlights. The waterfall was cool but wet, as is most water. ;) I like the water, but unless I am fully submerged (like swimming or such) I don't really like having water droplets flung at or on me. I don't like being rained on either. I think its good for the earth, the rain, and i enjoy watching it... I just don't want to be in it. Ok maybe that's a little lie. I don't mind warmer wet droplets, but the cold water; Hell to the no thank you.
Photographing the waterfall was a bit difficult. Not only was the water and digital camera an issue, but I had a bit of trouble with my lenses. I just could not get the exposer to the right level; however , when I did figure it out I felt as though I really learned something!
I saw a puffin in real life for the first time today! Today I learned that the Lord of the Rings, Journey to the Center of the Earth, and parts of the Game of Thrones series were all filmed here!!! SUPER NEAT-O Passing by glaciers was also pretty cool. Another thing I found interesting today was the temperature changes based on our location about the island. Inland or seashore, the constant was mildly cold no matter where were ventured. The wind, oh my goodness the wind this day was INTENSE. Like nearly knock you off your feet, or over a cliff intense. I saw black sand beaches for the first time today. So many firsts on this trip and we still have 11 days left on the island! I can't wait to see what lay in wait for us!
Until next time, Byyyyyyye.
